Dylan Emmons is the author of Living in Two Worlds: On Being a Social Chameleon With Asperger’s. Diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome at the age of six, Dylan now gives public talks and offers workshops for teachers, professionals, and parents of individuals on the autism spectrum with the goal of promoting understanding for and improving the quality of life of people with autism.
Dylan has also consulted for organizations providing services to individuals with disabilities. He has taught creative writing to youth offenders at a county correctional facility, and has collaborated with a charity that teaches reading techniques to those in underserved communities.
Dylan is an Adjunct Professor of English at Westchester Community College and lives outside of New York City.
